Some of the trip highlights included; great seats on the main floor for the Grand Ole Opry 100 Country Christmas show, the amazing ICE Exhibit – a magical holiday showplace (A Charlie Brown Christmas) made from 6000 blocks of ice complete with 7 scenes and a two-story ice slide, General Jackson Showboat Christmas Holiday entertainment cruise and lunch, a tour of Nashville’s major sights including music row, recording studios, the Parthenon and more, a line dancing lesson at Nashville Palace, a stop at the Johnny Cash gravesite and other highlights of country stars in Sumner County, an opportunity to sample different flavors of moonshine at a tasting bar, a tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame with the new Dolly Parton exhibit, and the Music City Walk of Fame, lunch at the famous Chocolate Covered Strawberry Restaurant, 3 nights in Nashville – the music city, shopping for Christmas gifts and much more! Plus, you’ll have plenty of time to explore Downtown Nashville and hear the many bands along the famous Broadway Street and experience firsthand why Nashville is known as the “Music City”.

  • 3:00 PM               ICE Exhibit at Opryland Hotel.  See amazing ice display, A Charlie Brown Christmas.  It’s a story-driven holiday showplace complete with larger-than-life ice sculptures; 40 artisans spend 6 weeks carving 6,000 blocks of ice with 9 immersive scenes.  Crawl through the lifesize Snoopy’s doghouse, slide down a two-story ice slide and experience Christmas wonderment with the entire Peanuts gang!  It’s an unforgettable experience!  Dress warm.  Parkas available.
  • 4:00 PM              Check into hotel – Drury Inn & Suites Nashville Airport, 555 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN, 37214 (615-902-0400)
  • 5:30 PM               Complimentary Kickback 5:30 (hot food buffet and 3 beverages – beer, wine, mixed drinks and soft drinks)
  • 6:15 PM               Depart hotel for Grand Ole Opry
  • 7:00 PM               Grand Ole Opry Country Christmas show – Great seats – main floor
  • 9:30 PM               Return to hotel after the show
  • 8:00 AM               Breakfast at hotel (Included) (Breakfast served 6-10)
  • 9:00 AM               Depart Hotel for a guided tour of Nashville.  On tour, see Christmas decorations as we tour downtown Nashville and sites such as music row, recording studios, Honky Tonk row, state capital, Parthenon in Centennial Park (full scale replica of original Parthenon in Athens), Ryman Auditorium (original site of Grand Ole Opry) and much more.
  • 12:30 PM             Lunch on your own downtown at Assembly Food Hall or one of the many bars/eateries.  Enjoy your free time and experience downtown Broadway Street bars and entertainment (MANY famous bars to enjoy with different genres of music) including Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge (a must see), Ole Red, The State, Legends Corner and many more)!  You may opt to tour the Ryman (site of the original Grand Ole Opry), the Johnny Cash Museum or National Museum of African American Music or shop for cowboy boots during your free time in downtown Nashville. 
  • 4:30 PM               Bus picks up guests and returns to hotel
  • 5:30 PM               Complimentary Kickback (hot food buffet and 3 beverages – beer, wine, mixed drinks and soft drinks)
  • 7:00 PM               Depart hotel for one hour Line dancing lesson at Nashville Palace (decorated for Christmas) and begins at 7:30 (included).  *Line dancing will continue after the lesson or you can enjoy the live entertainment at one of the nearby Opryland area restaurants/bars.
  • 9:30 PM              Bus picks up guests at Nashville Palace and returns to hotel.
  • 8:00 AM               Breakfast at hotel (Included)
  • 8:45 AM              Depart for Bass Pro Shop for shoppers or to Opryland Hotel for those wanting to see Christmas decorations in atrium.  Guests can choose their option.  
  • 10:30 AM           Pick up guests and drive to General Jackson Showboat.
  • 11:15–2:30 PM Tennessee Christmas cruise aboard the General Jackson Showboat – Cruise on 300’ paddlewheel showboat – lunch and show (Included). 
  • 2:30 PM              Depart for downtown
  • 3:00 PM              Tour Country Music Hall of Fame and see Music City Walk of Fame across the street (Included).  See the new Dolly Parton:  Journey of a Seeker exhibit that opened on May 20, 2025 with a wide selection of artifacts as well as several other exhibits and artifacts from country stars.
  • 5:00 PM              Bus picks up guests from Country Music Hall of Fame and returns to hotel.  If guests prefer to stay downtown and experience more of Nashville’s sights and sounds, a second pickup will be at 8:30 PM.
  • 5:30 PM              Complimentary Kickback (hot food buffet and 3 beverages – beer, wine, mixed drinks and soft drinks) at the hotel.
  • 6:30 PM              Depart for moonshine tasting or shopping at Opry Mills Mall.
  • 8:00 PM              Bus picks up guests from Opry Mills Mall and proceeds to pick up remaining guests.
  • 8:30 PM              Bus picks up remaining guests from downtown.  If desired, guests can stay downtown longer and take an Uber back to the hotel.
